Sam (she/her)

In order to keep this environment safe and functional, we ask that you adhere to the guidelines and expectations outlined below:

(Please Note: These may be subject to change at any time without prior notice to help keep our community as safe as possible.)

________________________________________________________________________

We encourage the use of Identity-First Language to avoid the dehumanization or objectification of others. For example. practice saying, “disabled person” instead of “the disabled”.

We also want to acknowledge that some people may prefer Person-First Language when identifying themselves like saying, “people with disabilities”. If you are unsure what term to use, don’t be afraid to ask.

Please be mindful of and do your best to use inclusive language, avoiding gendered terms such as guys and ladies. Instead, use terms such as everyone, folks/folx, or humans/people to avoid unintentionally excluding anyone. They should be inviting to read and should encourage readers to respond or participate.

Please be conscious and mindful of using proper pronouns when appropriate. We understand this isn't something everyone uses and we encourage using this space as a place to learn and grow. We encourage pronoun usage, but if you may be questioning or if it creates discomfort, please take care of yourself and your needs first.

Please be conscious of not speaking for other people or groups of people. Use “I” statements such as, “I feel _____” rather than implying, “All ___ people feel ___”.
__________________________________________________________________________

All experiences are valid, though we discourage any statements that may be harmful to others, whether intentional or not.

Please be respectful of everyone's experiences and do your best not to invalidate anyone. Be constructive when appropriate, "teach" in private (avoid blasting anyone publicly), and when in doubt, hold your opinions to yourself (especially judgements!). Being heard does not always mean being agreed with. Be open to learning.

Ask permission and don't assume! If you don't feel comfortable for any reason, do your best to communicate only with those involved. If that is not an option for you or does not seem to be effective, please reach out to Sam and do your best to avoid involving more people than needed (this is a road that often leads to unnecessary gossip).

Symphonic Alignment was birthed far beyond its physical manifestation in the Summer of 2024. It is a culmination of Sam's experiences coming together in Symphonic Alignment in and of itself. The three main branches consist of Business, Healing & Community.

The intention is to become a breeding ground for global change. With all of the modernized segregation plaguing our communities, Symphonic Alignment seeks to be truly people-centric, valuing experiences that are both similar

diverse. This is our version of an equity movement, a social justice movement, a climate change movement, and all-the-above movement. We believe when we get the "right" people together, miracles can and will happen. We aren't looking for like-minded people, we're looking for

people. We're looking for people who can envision a world where love, care, and engagement are also valued currencies. Where people can truly embody their full value that is

attached to their income or the money in their banks. Welcome to the Movement!
